MEET THE ADVANCEMENT TEAM

INVESTING IN ETERNITY

Chief Executive Officer Geneva Vollrath seeks to listen to what our volunteers are saying. She also desires to find ways to better meet their needs as they serve the Lord through Stonecroft Ministries.

“One area that has come to my attention is the fact that many friends of Stonecroft are interested in knowing how they can invest long term in Stonecroft Ministries," Geneva said. “While people have given faithfully through the years, they have not been aware of ways they could provide a level of support that could make a difference in expanding the outreach in a whole new way.”

She held a leadership role with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and Young Life for 15 years, and another 12 years in fund development with the American Bible Society and The Firs Camps and Conference Center. Deb is a graduate of Trinity Western University and earned her certification in Fundraising Management through Indiana University’s Center on Philanthropy. DANIEL POWELL - ADVANCEMENT DIRECTOR, EASTERN U.S.

Daniel Powell, who is available to assist friends of the ministry regarding stewardship opportunities, is thrilled to be part of the advancement team. Daniel comes to Stonecroft with 30 years of ministry experience, a master’s degree in pastoral ministries, and 25 years of development experience. He has directed development initiatives for organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the Haitian Christian Mission, and most recently served as the director of Maranatha Bible Camp and Retreat Center in Everton, MO.

“Evangelism has always been a passion of mine,” he said. “I appreciate that Stonecroft is focused on women. Since I have a wife, daughters, and granddaughters, I have a heart for women to know Christ. When you reach a woman for Jesus, you touch her husband, her family, and her friends.” Daniel currently resides in Joplin, MO with his wife of 33 years, Esther. They have six children and four “wonderful” grandchildren. Daniel’s favorite hobby includes producing special events, including two national Christian conventions each year.

KEVIN WILMA - ADVANCEMENT DIRECTOR, SOUTH CENTRAL U.S.

Kevin Wilma has more than 20 years of corporate experience with several Fortune 500 companies and has held leadership positions with the Christian & Missionary Alliance, Mission Aviation Fellowship, and International Students, Inc. Now a member of the Advancement team at Stonecroft, Kevin served previously as a consultant to Stonecroft Ministries through VisionQuest Alliance. He facilitated several Vision Weekends on behalf of Stonecroft during the past two years and his greatest joy is listening to people share their stories and walking with them on their journeys. “It’s been a privilege meeting so many of these great guys who support and encourage their wives as they so passionately serve in this ministry.”

Kevin knows full well the impact that a woman who loves Jesus can have on the lives of those around her. While he was in college, his high school sweetheart encouraged him to attend a Bible study with her. That night, Kevin began a journey with the Lord, as well as with Paula, the woman who would become his wife. Paula had been introduced to Christ by a neighbor who was involved in a Christian Women’s Club.

Kevin and Paula have been married for thirty-five years and are the parents of Elizabeth and Emily. Kevin sees the Stonecroft legacy continuing around the world through women like his daughters. “Women are naturally gifted in evangelism—they are so relational and their networks are deep and wide,” he says. “A spiritual movement is beginning around the globe and I firmly believe that women will be at the forefront of this movement.”

Kevin and Paula live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The region he covers for Stonecroft includes Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
