STONECROFT GENERATION NOW

ANY AGE, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME

No matter what generation you are—Silent, Boomer, Gen-X, Millennial, or even Cyber—you can be part of Stonecroft’s Generation NOW.

Generation NOW women understand God will use anyone at any age, anywhere, at any time. He simply requires us to be available, sensitive to His voice, and ready to share the hope within us NOW with the person He places in our path.

Take a moment to meet some of Stonecroft’s Generation NOW women:

pamPAM HOLBROOK taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and had a husband on the church board. Then she met Jesus at a Stonecroft Bible Study. “I had head knowledge, but not heart knowledge,” she says. “I told my husband, ‘Jeff—I accepted Christ today!’ He said, ‘Pam, you’ve been a Christian ever since I’ve known you.’ But no, I hadn’t realized Jesus wanted to have a personal relationship with me, that He would have died just for me.”

angela“A lot of women my age don’t have a mother figure in their daily lives,” says Generation X-er AMANDA BACON. “Often, their female relatives live out of state, are estranged, or have passed away.” Stonecroft can help meet that need by providing nurturing mentors through Bible studies and outreach events. “It’s important to have people close by,” Amanda observes, “to have someone who may ‘adopt’ their children and be that mother-like figure to them. Our volunteers can really help young women like these.”

As a Stonecroft Regional Administrator, MARGO CHALK thrives on sharing Christ in non-traditional settings. “I love working in churches, but many women will never pass through church doors,” she says. “They will come to a coffee shop though, or to a community center, or to someone’s home where they can experience the love of Jesus through the other beautiful women who attend the meetings.”

terriThough she no longer uses alcohol, TERRI BROWN is one of the least sober people you’ll ever meet. This vivacious woman used to round up her co-workers to go to happy hour. “Now I round them up to go to After 5,” she laughs. Terri rededicated her life to Christ after hearing God’s Word at church and through Stonecroft Bible Studies. She’s still a party girl, but with a different emphasis. “Jesus doesn’t change your basic personality,” Terri says. “He just changes the road you’re on.”

kathyI just can’t say enough about the quality of the people I’ve met and been mentored by through Stonecroft,” says KATHY BISHOP, an Area Representative and speaker in Lodi, Wisconsin. “It’s a top-notch organization. Some people think it’s a social outlet, but no—it’s a gift from God to have that burden for the lost. If I had only one day to live, the most important thing to me would be to reach someone with the Gospel.”
