WILLS

The Bible teaches us that everything we have comes from God. Everything we have is a gift from God. Each of us will be held accountable for how we  manage and maintain what God has entrusted to us. Biblical stewardship includes prayerfully creating a will. If you have a will, you can be sure the distribution of your assets will be handled according to your instructions.

What is a will?

A will is a legal document that outlines the distribution of your assets when you die. It also provides for a guardian of your choice for your minor children, if necessary.

Who Needs a will? YOU DO! If you leave a will, YOU determine:

WHEN TO REVISE YOUR WILL

A will should be updated as your circumstances change, or if you change your mind. On average, you should review your will every three to four years. Your will should be updated if you have:

  1. married, divorced, experienced a birth or a death in the family;
  2. moved to a different state;
  3. a shift in financial circumstances;
  4. elderly parents to care for;
  5. a disabled and/or handicapped child to care for;
  6. a change in your charitable beneficiaries.

CONTINUING THE LORD’S WORK

Like many of our donors, you may want to make a gift to Stonecroft Ministries. Many people name a charity as a beneficiary in their will. This is an effective way to leave a testimony to the Lord that continues to enrich the lives of others.
