The Gift Giver
Alaska —Dave Wolfe is a big, biker guy, but it’s his larger-than-life testimony that really captures the attention of those he meets. A key part of the way he shares his testimony is the Stonecroft Life Publication, A Gift for You.
Dave shares his evangelism approach: “I just ask the Lord to show me who needs a word from Him today. Then I ask them, ‘Would you like a gift?’” It is that simple yet intriguing question that has been the catalyst for Dave to give away more than two thousand copies of A Gift for You in the past year!
Recently, God used one of those copies to radically transform the lives of a native Alaskan man and his wife. The native man came to know Christ after Dave shared his testimony and gave him a copy of A Gift for You.
Immediately, he was healed from alcohol addiction. Instead of drinking, he began to lavish love on his wife. She was so pleasantly surprised by the changes in her husband that she asked him what had happened. He used this open door to lead his wife to Christ. In return, they both went back to Dave in search of discipleship, and he helped them connect with a local church. He also gave them their very first Bible.
Dave continues to share his testimony and “gifts” as the Holy Spirit leads. In preparation for a local biker’s convention, at which he’ll be speaking, he ordered 500 copies of A Gift for You.
“There are going to be some rough guys there, but that is exactly who I used to be.”
Dave’s passion is proof positive that God wants to use us—and our shared experiences—to spread the Gospel.
